Portfolio

I am a Swedish artist based in Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. My practice is rooted in oil painting and drawing, exploring the human body, landscape and our relationship with the natural world. My work moves between the intimate and the expansive, where the body can become a landscape and the landscape a psychological space. I am particularly interested in transformation and the fragile boundaries between human and more-than-human life.

My practice is rooted in painting and drawing, with the human body and the landscape as recurring points of departure. I am interested in the body as a place of strength, vulnerability and transformation, and in the ways it resonates with the natural world. I am particularly interested in the space between the human and the more-than-human: the moment when the body becomes landscape, and landscape becomes something bodily.
